Our wedding at Gem was unbelievable it was everything and more that we wanted. The views are just breath taking. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you. We have 92 guests in total and roughly 30 were children 8 of which were babies. The venue couldn’t have accommodated anymore than they did. Our wedding photos are insane I don’t think we would’ve got photos that we did from anywhere else like we have from Gem. The food was amazing too. If your looking to get married in Santorini I would highly recommend having your special day at Gem I cant say anymore than WOW

Our wedding at GEM was spectacular, after being searching about all the venues and hotels for almost a year in Santorini , we have decided to go ahead with GEM, and it was the best decision that we have made for our special day. From day 1 our wedding planner Iosifina (GEM/local wedding planner), was there to help us in order to meet all our requirements. Her amazing personality and professional manner helped us to have an amazing, perfect and memorial day. Special thanks to lovely Iosifina and her crew for making us the best day in our life. All our guests loved the venue, food and GEM staff.

Seeing all the beautiful pictures of Gem and reading all the reviews, I booked my venue with very high expectations. Truthfully, communication with Gem, to sort out payment and the event request was somewhat hard when overseas – Canada. However, when we got there my mind was blown! The location is absolutely stunning, but the true value of Gem were the people. The wedding planner Iosifina was a God sent, she had everything organized so well and truly made me feel special – the entire event went on without a hitch. The food was by far the best we had in all of Santorini. Everything was planned to perfection and I truly want to thank them. Our guest are still talking about what a great time they had, and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day.

A wedding planner should be your wedding planner second and your friend first and I certainly found that with Iosifina. In respect of the venue, she knows the venue intimately so her knowledge was incredibly valuable. In respect of her planning – I didn’t have to worry about a thing throughout the whole experience, from planning over email back in the UK to the run up to the main event – it was incredible. Iosifina has a calming nature and influence and I totally trusted her judgment and her advice and she picked up things that she didn’t even need to do when times were tough in the run up to the wedding. She takes great joy in making your vision perfect and making it happen – the best investment, along with the DJ and the photographer, was having Iosifina – she did me amazingly proud.

Santorini Gem Staff, you have exceeded our expectations! We do not know where to begin. Pristine yet flexible service, professionalism, attention to detail, palatable kitchen/wine and kind souls – just a few words that describe how we feel about the day. The luxury sit down menu was so delicious and of high quality – the guests thought the food will never stop arriving at the table  we wish we could eat more. And certainly something we do not have control over – the weather that day gifted us with a breathtaking sunset – one of the main reasons we flew all the way from Canada to spend our special day surrounded by our dear guests on Santorini. It was such an incredible day in one of the most romantic and picturesque places on Earth – we still get goosebumps from just thinking back to the moments of our wedding day 

As a UK based wedding planner, Gem is one of the most popular venues we work collaborate with. The setting, a huge Greek Villa, Perched on the cliff edge overlooking the Caldera, the panoramic view will leave you speechless. The venue is full of character, and offers external and internal dining areas weather depending. The professionalism of the staff is excellent and a huge shout out to Iosifina, without you I’d be lost. Masses of experience and always welcoming, friendly and willing to help despite being pulled in several directions at the same time. The events team work extremely well and the amount of food ordered is far more than suggests on the menu. Would I recommend this venue? without hesitation. An absolute please working with you all and I look forward to the coming weddings.

I got married here in September 2018, words are not nearly enough to truly show how amazing our day was. It took me nearly a year to plan my wedding with Santorini Gem, from start to finish Iosifina and Lydia were professional but also really lovely people, creative, extremely helpful and very patient with me. I was extremely fussy and had detailed visions of how I wanted my day, but nothing was ever too much trouble when I asked and when things were getting to the top of our budget they suggested really creative and great solutions to be able to have everything we wanted. The views, venue, flowers, food & drinks package, cake, fireworks, table settings, DJ and musician, photographer, makeup artist and many more were all amazing and to a really high professional standard. The attention to detail to ensure that everything I had asked for and envisaged for my wedding was completed was outstanding. Our friends and family are still in awe of the day and continue to talk about the day and how fantastic it was. I am beyond grateful to Iosifina and Lydia for the most perfect day, you created the most truly special memories for us and we cannot thank you enough. I cannot recommend Santorini Gem as a wedding venue enough as well as their amazing wedding planning service.

If your looking for a perfect venue with a beautiful view and amazing staff look no further. We found the venue in Sept 2016 and booked straight away for May 2018 and it couldnt have got any better. Our wedding was everything we hoped for and more. Big huge thank you to Iosifina/Josephine she is amazing and so professional, she sorted everything while we was in the UK and was always there when we arrived in Santorini, she is truly brilliant at what she does. Food, staff and venue decorated was better than we could have ever imagined. Everything was sorted for us, from the fireworks, flowers, food, transfers, photographer to the DJ. Would highly recommend the sunset wedding / exclusive hire of GEM it is so worth it. GEM even sorted our photographer “Bliss” and Petros your amazing too. We cant thank you enough, everyone was blown away, and said the wedding was “Hollywood style” and the food and cupcakes were the best they’ve ever tasted :). I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you (Iosifina ) and the entire GEM team for everything on our wedding day. It was absolutely the best day we could’ve imagined! The venue needs not words as it’s gorgeous and everyone loved it. the FOOD (I LOVE food, and I’m also very picky) was amazing! I wish I had been hungrier on our wedding day, because I really wanted to eat more! Thank you! The service was fantastic! My husband and I both worked in restaurants before so we are VERY critical when it comes to restaurants, but GEM did not disappoint, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful! There was a gentleman (I am very sad I do not remember his name) that came up to Andres and me throughout the night to ask if we needed anything and he was just amazing and multiple people told me that the bartender was great and friendly. So THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for having such great staff and making our day so wonderful!

I would highly recommend getting married at the Gem & also to go with the in house wedding planners. At first it was hard and a bit worrying as I was organising my wedding from Australia and everything that I booked I was going off there word and reviews but Isoifina & her team made it so easy with minimal stress. There was constant contact via email, she kept me updated on everything regarding the suppliers, schedule & the legal paperwork, even on the day of the wedding when I decided to change a couple of things there were no issues. The view from the gem was absolutely amazing (photos do not do it justice) also the venue it’s self was just beautiful & the food was delicious. Also I was very impressed with the flowers over the gazebo and for the Center pieces on the table. They were exactly as I wanted them. Once again a big thank you from myself and Earl to the team at the Gem you all did an amazing job.

My daughter just got married on Monday. The place is named well, it is a gem! The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The views were magnificent! The food was excellent! The speakers for our music was excellent! Highly recommend this place for anyone’s wedding!!
