From Phildrinkwater photography: “This tiny Greek Island is currently the destination of choice for couples looking for a European wedding. Find out why.. Santorini has some of the most beautiful coastalviews … anywhere! It’s such a unique option for those with wanderlust in their hearts. Santorini Gem, where they had chosen to be married, takes pride of place on the South side. The day begins Carla and her bridesmaids (and bridesmale) spent a fun morning together laughing and joking with Helen, their MUA while they were pampered and sprayed. Meanwhile, the guys were preparing together with family. It was late afternoon and the sun was really beating down by this time, but they still looked totally cool in their sunglasses. At Santorini Gem As the guests walked in, they were blown away by the setting and it was photo time by the cliffs. Carla soon joined them, greeted by a tearful Lee, who was overjoyed to see her. After a ceremony in front of the incredible views, they were congratulated by friends and family and we spent some time taking photographs. What a location! I almost didn’t know where to start! And the sun sets.. As the afternoon waned, they were seated for dinner and an emotional set of speeches. They looked

Joelle and Ziad came from Lebanon to get married at Santorini with family and friends. Joelle was like a queen from another era in her Zuhair Murad wedding gown. And how could she not be gorgeous as it is only natural..? All you have to do is take a look at her mom, Patricia Riga, both of them famous make up artists..! Our amazing couple had a “first look”, something we will never stop to recommend! Only Santorini would be ideal for this beauty and her elegance and Santorini Gem in particular to hold this magnificent wedding. A carriage of white horses for our queen and our endless admiration. The wedding palette had light pink, ivory and gold shades making this event an authentic fairy-tale. And when the sun set and candles lit, the fairy tale got real. Percussionists highlighted the entrance at the reception, marking the start of a magical night…> READ MORE

“Jodi and Lee, a lovely couple from New Orleans, Louisiana, travelled to the other side of the world for the most romantic destination wedding. Santorini Gem was the perfect venue for their dream wedding in Greece! Keeping most of the traditions, but adjusted to their own style, we loved every detail. The “something blue” part was covered by the engagement ring that matched perfectly with the soft colored wedding bouquet and the ivory dress. We were amazed to see our bride in front of the blue sea and the Caldera view, presenting these beautiful images… Besides the roses in soft shades of pink and white, the rest of the decoration was completed by olive leaves and greenery. They almost had a “first look”! And we say almost, because we found a way to photograph them together before the ceremony and yet succeeded to keep them apart. We will leave the photos to tell the rest of the story…” from Phosart Photos by Phosart Photography & Cinematography READ MORE
Wedding Stelios & Melissa Stelios & Melissa have selected one of the most breathtaking places, GEM, to perform their wedding ceremony being unaware that the very same night a brilliant sight would unfold in front of their eyes! Their date was also chosen to perform a lights & fireworks event which simulated the explosion of the Volcano! So, soon after the ceremony and a few drinks everybody stood on the edge of Caldera watching this spectacular event! Nice coincidences like these can only be a gift of fate!!
The wedding and reception took place at Santorini Gem. The views from the venue were breath-taking. I wore a cream, turquoise and pink bridal lehenga from Frontier Bazaar and jewellery from Symmetree in New Delhi. Amit wore a fawn sherwani with a matching safa and deep maroon stole. READ MORE
